The Hit Squad update: In The Middle

Ok, so its been a little while since I last gave a proper update on the state of the movie. People have been asking a fair amount on its whereabouts.

I wont bore you with the exact details but the choice I had before Christmas was to rush something out using Anime Studio or stick and learn/use After Effects. I chose the latter option, which means a few things:

However, this option means a few things: a) The quality of production is MUCH much better (techies: lighting, transparency, particles,) b) it renders video files much quicker c) it integrates into a better workflow by syncing with other Adobe products such as Premiere and Audition. (faster post production) d) I learn an industry standard product (a personal thing) e) it leaves option for some more exciting things in the future (can announce later 🙂 ).

I’d probably say Im about 60% through the entire process, but it is going very very well and I’m extremely happy with how its going. The finances have been spread super-thinly and I’ve gad to take on some freelance work to help finance things, which delays things further, but Im trying to keep that to a minimum.

Needless to say I have been working day and night to make the movie and I won’t be slowing down any time soon. We will have some great announcements coming in the next few months. So keep an eye out!

This will include a screenshot in the next week or so. 😉
